This Steelton 12" x 16" x 2" stainless steel hood filter ensures that solids and grease are deposited directly onto smooth baffles and drained out, assisting in reducing the potential for grease fires. Its welded type 430 stainless steel construction with rugged drop handles ensures both durability and easy installation and removal. This hood filter is dishwasher safe and cleans easily with soap and water or degreaser, and it can even be pressure washed to remove the toughest residue. Please note that hood filters should not be cleaned in a dish machine unless they have been degreased first. When degreasing, make sure that chemicals are not left on too long and that they are properly rinsed to avoid potential corrosion.
